Great Lengths® Hair Extensions are ethically sourced, 100% real human virgin Remy hair from donations made to Indian temples. After we purchase the hair from Indian temples, these temples use the proceeds from their sale to support local charitable causes.

Every strand of hair is donated willingly, with consent, in accordance with local Indian religious traditions, with the goal of supporting the local community.

All their products are blended by hand, strand by strand. The crafting, processing, and blending of the extensions are made in Italy, adhering to human rights, local traditions, and ethical values.

In fact, their production facility in Nepi, Italy, is ISO 9001:2015, UNI EN ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS-18001:2007. In fact, Great Lengths is the only provider of extensions that has the ISO 9001:2015 and OHSA-18001:2007 certifications in the world.

The Craftmanship

First, we depigment the hair by washing in oxidant solutions to remove the initial color. This can last up to 20 days and encompass multiple washes.

To prevent damage, we make sure that only natural pigments are removed. To further guarantee the quality of Great Lengths hair, a special technology has developed to discard any chemically treated hair.

Next, we take bunches of hair and submerge them into temperature and PH-value controlled solution. This is done to tone the hair color to the desired shade. Great Length coloring products are very delicate and derived from precious cashmere yarn.

Finally, we blend the strands of hair to create the most natural color possible. Various shades are added thereafter to increase the depth and mimic the appearance of human hair. In fact, our exclusive hand-blending procedure keeps Great Lengths at the top of the luxury hair extension market. They have over 90 shades of colors available!
